It’s finally getting cold! I’m pretty stoked, I must admit, as I have always thrived in chilly weather (growing up in Maine is helpful here).
I still have 2 Methuselah of Vega-Sicilia’s 2014 ‘Pintia’ and I thought it would be a perfectly rich glass for the cold entrance into the December month. This is a great example of the crossroads of rustic Tempranillo-heavy terroir and elite winemaking. Out of the large format, it screams a freshness that supports the inherent heft of the grape and the style. Shall be a treat to pour all week long. Hope to see you!
