Remoissenet for the Holidays

Now that we’ve twice checked in on the Remoissenet Balthazars, I thought the holiday season was the perfect time to bust out the most special ones we have in house! This week we’ll start with young Jeros of 2017 1er cru Teurons from Beaune. Remoissenet is based in Beaune and is one of the oldest Domaines there. They’ve also got one of the largest, oldest cellars; thus we were able to source these massive, wonderful Balthazars.

Starting Thursday the 19th, and running all the way through to the 29th, we’ve got two Balthazars of Vosne-Romanée 2014—elegant, spicy, classically-toned—and the true pièce de résistance: a Balthazar of Chambolle-Musigny 1989. 30-year-old Burgundy out of 12L – can’t beat it!

These wines get better and better after a couple days of air: come grab a glass and toast to the holidays!
