Gamay & Game Meats for Fall

I have to admit, I can’t get enough of really good Beaujolais. As far as the intersection of quality, complexity and value, there are few other places in wine that I think deliver as consistently. After chatting with Chef Dieter about this upcoming week, we figured we’d run some Game specials side-by-side with more fabulous Gamay.

Mostly magnums this week, however, but these are no slouches. From maybe the greatest value in Beaujolais (Roilette’s ‘Cuvée Tardive’) to perhaps one of the greatest of all cuvées (Foillard’s ‘Cuvée 3.14’); we’ve got it all covered this week. I also got my hands on a couple extra Jeroboams of Lapierre’s 2018 Morgo, so we’ll pop those for the weekend.
