Five Killer Wines by the Glass for May | 5/1 – 5/7/22

Spring explosions of pink and purple and white blossoms are now lining our parks and streets and I haven’t stopped sneezing. Stuffy noses and wine assessment generally don’t pair well, so this week, we have a few wines by the glass with enough personality to jump through any hay-fever side effect. With a beautiful and soft Pinot Noir from Claire Naudin & Bizot to begin the week, followed by the lauded (and a favorite springtime quaff) Domaine de Villaine Bouzeron Aligoté, you can be sure your week will start off refreshingly.

We’ll open what will hopefully be one of my favorites of the year—2017 Keller ‘Dalsheimer Hubacker’ Riesling Trocken. Chef Vinny has been working with lots of springtime produce (see: ramps!), and a dry Riesling should prove to be a perfect accompaniment. Saturday, we’ll celebrate spring, new shows at Lincoln Center, and the weekend by pouring glasses of Bérêche’s Brut Réserve Champagne.
