It’s been a lot of fun to return to the big bottle pours again. Definitely a nice return to “normal” during these rather bizarre times.
For this, the final week of my favorite month, I thought we’d go back to the perfect pairing with the majority of Bar Boulud food: Red Burgundy.
I’ve got some 3-liters of two different village wines from Domaine Michel Noëllat and we’ll pour all week long until they’re gone!
We’ll begin with Nuit-Saint-Georges and end with Morey-Saint-Denis. As the weather starts to turn down just a tad more, there’s not much more satisfying than a great glass of Pinot from the greatest terroir there is.
