Beaujolais Nouveau for Thanksgiving Week

Thanks to the crazy weather last weekend, our shipment of Beaujolais Nouveau didn’t get here quite ready to go on the actual day itself (this past Thursday). That said, this just means more Nouveau for everyone all week, particularly on Thanksgiving!

Good Beaujolais is fabulous with Turkey, as well as just about all of the food we are serving here, from Bistro style to Mediterranean. Typically, Nouveau is disregarded as the celebratory, easy, uncomplicated glug-glug juice that lacks character and depth; it’s generally just an excuse to party.

Jean-Paul Brun uses some of his oldest vines to make his Nouveau, and every year it stuns me how absolutely quaffable yet masterful his wine is. It’s such a pleasure to have it in Methuselahs, and we’ll pour for you all week long.

Hope to see you soon!
